Our Business

We are moving freight volumes from road to rail by using the Helrom rail wagon and terminal technology.

We will offer daily services connecting truck hub locations.

We will continuously add new corridors connecting truck hub locations in Europe.

Our services

Corridors across Europe

We will offer intermodal train services on corridors connecting truck hub locations in Europe.

Better tariffs than other transporters

For three reaons we will be able to offer you highly competitive rates:

1. We apply the economies of scale of rail,
2. The Helrom wagon & terminal technology requires no additional infrastructure for loading and unloading semi-trailers other than a track, resulting in lower transaction costs than any other intermodal technology on the market, and
3. we consequently focus on asset utilization, resulting in a highly competitive cost structure.

Green transportation

Our rail transportation will reduce CO2 emissions per tonne kilometre by around 88% compared to road transport.

Reliability

To deliver safe and reliable services for our customers, precision in execution is our top priority.

For you as transport company/3PL operator

We offer you trailer parking space on our terminal to give you flexibility in your schedules and allow you to optimize the use of your fleets. Cut-off for handover of trailers will be two hours before departure, pick-up two hours after arrival.

For you as manufacturer/shipper/retailer

Allows your chosen transport partners to switch to an intermodal solution without any capital investment in huckepack equipment, thereby delivering the modal switch and CO2 reductions within your corporate agenda.

Daily departures

We will provide daily departures on corridors in both directions. We will depart at the same time and arrive at the same time each day.

Our technology

Helrom owns proprietary rail wagon and rail terminal technology. The Helrom technology allows us to transport all standard semi-trailers on rail.

The Helrom wagon opens and closes horizontally to load and unload. The Helrom wagon requires no additional terminal infrastructure for loading and unloading other than a track.

The Helrom technology has been proven in regular operations in Sweden.
